Key Responsibilities


  • Lead ongoing activities so that Commercial, Hajj, Umrah & Charter flights are managed on a day-to-day basis without compromise to schedule or passenger experience.
  • Monitor logistics, inventories and vendor relationships to ensure efficient supply chain operations are managed within budget.
  • Conduct offload reconciliation checks by overseeing physical counts of returned items at catering unit.
  • Support menu and product development that enhances buy-on-board sales; review sales performance, margins, and wastage to optimize product mix.
  • Ensure alignment of catering operations with marketing and commercial promotions (seasonal, National Day, etc.).
  • Conduct product quality checks and annual HACCP audits of catering units across the network to ensure product consistency, food safety, and hygienic production and handling standards are maintained.
  • Improve operational cost efficiencies without compromising passenger experience, food quality/safety, crew operations or OTP.
  • Ensure contracted SLA’s with catering providers are upheld. 
  • Plan catering requirements for wet-lease Hajj and Umrah flights and the related equipment transfers at start and end of wet-lease period
  • Ensure efficient planning for new fleet and new routes and annual HACCP audits at catering units.


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree: Business, Logistics, Inventory Control or related field
  • Professional Catering Qualifications highly desired.
  • HACCP credentials are a plus.
  • Minimum +5 years’ experience in Airline Catering Operations with an airline (fleet size 30) minimum.
  • Previous Inflight or Procurement process experience is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, hygiene standards and compliance requirements in the aviation industry.
  • A strong level of financial competence
  • Familiarity with catering planning and inventory tools
  • Expert level knowledge of LOPA’s, GLP’s and aircraft galley limitations is essential.
  • Previous LCC Catering Operations experience is a plus
  • Presentations skills.
